For all those that overlooked it: TOOLES USED ARE: Adobe Illustrator and After Effects

I am trying to read the comments to understand how and where to use rebase and squash commits. I have used merge and resolving conflicts while merging master in very old branches is a head ache, it has been a one time headache. I am not clear why and where to use rebase. I have understood that squash commit is helpful when suppose you are working on a feature and when merging into master, squashing commits will be helpful to avoid too many commits.

Very good explanation with animations. A demo would have been icing on the cake. I had faced an issue while uptaking merge branch additional commits into feature branch using git merge in gitlab UI where merge conflict was arising. When I resolved then conflict on gitlab UI itself and merge request was granted, both the main and feature branches got merged into each other and main branch had the commits of feature branch😠. Any reason for this weird behaviour?

And if you talk to the devs, they probably curse at how complex this is. I'm so done with the stupidity of saying that an architecture is good because it is used by a large company. If I had a dollar for every time some "developer" told me that we had to switch to some particular type of stack because he heard of a big company that used it, I'd be rich. What you are looking at for netflix is not designed, it evolved, just like all your crappy stacks did, but it's netflix so you blindly assert that it must be designed and at the top of it's field. All nonsnse.

No CORBA/IDL and/or COM? While old, they are still in active use in many enterprises. As are RMI and, certainly, WCF (though i guess that's under SOAP).
